Holy Name Society

The principle objectives of the Holy Name Society are to impart courage to Catholic men in the profession of their faith, to provide fellowship and social activities for the men of the parish ad to support the parish financially.  Membership is open to any male member of the parish over the age of 18.  The group meets monthly on the second Monday of the month, with time devoted to prayer, a short business meeting, social time and a light meal.  As a parish fundraiser, the group currently coordinates the kitchen at Bingo on Friday evenings.  Past and current activities include an annual bloodmobile, a summer parish-wide garage sale, an autumn bazaar, and semi-annual pitch tournaments.  The organization funds an elderly gentlemen through the CFCA mission program and provides an annual scholarship to Rome Catholic schools.  The group has annual dues of $5.00.
